15-4 beta blue pigment is a greenish-blue bright synthetic blue pigment from the group of Phthalocyanine Dyes. It is widely used in inks, coatings, paints, textiles, rubber, and many plastics. It is transparent, solvent-stable, and has strong tinting strength. 15-4 beta blue pigment exhibits high resistance to acids, oils, solvents, alkalis, heat, waxes, and soaps and high lightfastness. It is a beta form of copper phthalocyanine that is manufactured by a two-step process of milling and pigmentation.
